72 - NYC or...?

Sometimes when I'm in New York City, I forget which country I'm actually in. Especially when I hang out with my in-laws (we tend to spend a fair bit of time in Flushing, which is where Chinatown #2 is), or with Josh's friends (it seems like we inevitably end up eating in places like Korea Town, aka "K-Town"). You see the signs, and you might wonder where you actually are...

But, I can't really argue, because the food (and company) is always quite good.

I'm writing this to let you know that I am refraining from commenting about Korean food and the smells that invade my apartment as a result. This is some serious self restraint, and you should be very proud of me.

I AM proud of you, Robin. But I think you have every right to say that kimchi stinks something awful. Because it does. And it's an acquired taste I have no desire to acquire.

However. There ARE some really excellent kinds of Korean food. Trust me. We got sundubu (soft tofu), which is fabulous, and Josh makes a pretty mean Korean BBQ. Maybe someday we can redeem it for you. But you totally get to complain about kimchi stinking up your apartment, because I totally would, too.
